Welcome to

'From Propagation to Big Boys - Historically Accurate Info & Tips to Make your Plants Thicc'

I will be writing a series of blogs on this history of some of out most beloved houseplants with tips and tricks of how to keep these beautiful plants alive in our modern day British homes.

This series will be over three different platforms;
TikTok - @Botanialbabee - Overview of research
Instagram - @Botanical_Babee - Visual and quick snippets of information
Website - BotanicalBabePlants.com - In-depth research all in one blog post.

I am a graduate in Social History and currently studying a MA in Public History. I want to combine my passion for houseplants and history together while teaching you and showing how easy it is to start a collection and keep houseplants alive and thriving!

Due to my dyslexia these post will only be using basic language and will be assessable for all no matter the education level you are at! This may also mean there were are grammar and spelling mistakes but I will try my best to proof read. Writing for people to read and view has always been a slight fear of mine but here we are, i'm stepping out of my comfort zone of visual and video explanations.

So please stay tuned for the first plant we will look at on this blog - The Begonia and Begoniaceae family.
Begonia Rex
