Light:

Temperature:

• Maintain a room temperature between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or extreme temperature fluctuations.

Watering:

• Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water your peace lily when the top inch (2.5 cm) of the soil feels dry to the touch. Be cautious not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot. Peace lilies are sensitive to chlorine and other chemicals in tap water, so it's best to use filtered or dechlorinated water if possible.

Humidity:

• Peace lilies appreciate moderate to high humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, consider using a humidifier, placing a tray filled with water and pebbles near the plant, or misting the plant regularly to increase humidity.

Soil:

• Use a well-draining potting mix with good water retention. A mix designed for indoor tropical plants or a combination of potting soil, perlite, and peat moss works well.

Potting:

• Repot your peace lily when it becomes root-bound or outgrows its pot. This may be needed every 1-2 years. Choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage and fresh potting mix.

Fertilizing:

• Feed your peace lily every 6-8 weeks during the growing season (spring through early autumn) with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer. Reduce or eliminate fertilization in the winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Pruning:

• Trim away yellow or brown leaves and spent blooms to maintain the plant's appearance and encourage new growth. Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears.

Pests and Diseases:

• Peace lilies are generally not very susceptible to pests. However, they can occasionally attract common houseplant pests like mealybugs and spider mites. Inspect your plant regularly for pests and treat them promptly. Adequate airflow can help prevent fungal issues.

Flowering:

• Peace lilies produce their signature white blooms periodically throughout the year. With proper care, your peace lily will continue to produce these elegant flowers.
