Botanical Babe Houseplants
The "Pothos N'Joy" (Epipremnum aureum 'N'Joy') is a beautiful variety of pothos known for its green and white marbled leaves. It's relatively easy to care for, much like other pothos varieties. Here's how to care for your Pothos N'Joy:
- Provide bright, indirect light for your Pothos N'Joy. It can tolerate lower light conditions but will thrive and display more vibrant variegation in brighter conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Maintain a room temperature between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Pothos N'Joy is sensitive to cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
- Allow the top inch (2.5 cm) of the soil to dry out before watering. Pothos N'Joy prefers to be kept moderately moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when you do water, and ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent overwatering.
- Pothos N'Joy is adaptable to a range of humidity levels but appreciates moderate to high humidity. If the air in your home is dry, use a humidifier, place a tray with water and pebbles near the plant, or mist the plant regularly to increase humidity.
- Use a well-draining potting mix. A mix formulated for indoor tropical plants or a combination of potting soil, perlite, and peat moss works well.
- Repot your Pothos N'Joy when it becomes root-bound or outgrows its pot. This may be needed every 1-2 years. Choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage and fresh potting mix.
- Feed your Pothos N'Joy every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring through early autumn) with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer. Reduce or eliminate fertilization in the winter when the plant's growth slows down.
- Trim away yellow or brown leaves to maintain the plant's appearance and encourage new growth. You can also prune to shape the plant as desired.
Pests and Diseases:
- Pothos N'Joy is generally resistant to pests but can occasionally attract common houseplant pests like mealybugs and spider mites. Inspect your plant regularly for pests and treat them promptly. Good airflow can help prevent fungal issues.
Pothos N'Joy is a lovely and low-maintenance houseplant that can add beauty and charm to your indoor space. With proper care and attention to its specific needs for light, water, and humidity, it can thrive and become an attractive addition to your collection of houseplants.

I had wanted a pothos njoy for a while so I was excited when botanical babe had them in store! Very happy with the healthy plant I received - lots of new leaves already!
The plant arrived in great condition, especially since it travelled all the way to Scotland from Wales. Tesni's customer service is also perfect, she answered my questions about propagating and replied within a matter of minutes every time. I highly recommend this plant as well as the entire shop in general!
